About Me
I am fifty-one. And I am fierce.
For my 50th birthday present to myself, I indulged a midlife crisis and spent a summer in Portland, OR, attending school for floral design. I knew it was time to think of what should come next.
I returned to my life as a high school teacher when summer ended, but did so while making other plans, visualizing another life for myself.
Finally, after twenty (alternately exhausting and rewarding) years of teaching high school science, I retired recently to reinvent myself as a floral designer...
I am a new person.
